Cupertino, CA, United States – Apple’s newest 4-inch smartphone is expected to hit next month. New reports sugget that the handset will be called as the iPhone SE in contrast to the former rumor stating that it’ll be dubbed as iPhone 5se .
Previous names that have surfaced in the internet also include iPhone 7c and iPhone 6c . Apparently, the Cupertino company will only be tagging it as iPhone SE which will stand for iPhone Special Edition.
This 4-inch iPhone will match iPhone 5s ‘ pricing scheme. It is also pegged to have the same external design as the 2013 flagship device. As for the rest of the specs, the iPhone SE could pack the A9 chipset with an “upgraded” 8MP rear camera, NFC and Apple Pay support.
It is also expected to have Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11 ac and LTE connectivity. Users can choose between 16GB and 64GB configurations. The event is said to take place on March 15 and will also feature the 9.7-inch iPad Pro.
